Frequently Asked Questions:

  1. What type of activities can I expect my child to be doing while at the preschool?

Your child will be engaged in a pre-planned curriculum every day. MUSC Child Development Preschool practices Creative Curriculum. The research based curriculum creates an environment based on teacher-initiated and child-initiated activities that not only stimulate the mind but promote pro-social interactions between the children.

  1. Will my child need to bring their lunch?

Yes. Every child needs to bring a lunch that is completely prepared and ready to eat. Our staff will provide your child a healthy and delicious snack with juice twice a day.

  1. How do I get on the waiting list?

From your MUSC computer, go to www.musc.edu/businessservices/childdevelopmentpreschool/ and click on the “waitlist registration” icon. Fill out your information and submit. The Center Director will be in contact as openings become available.
